What We Do

Honor the Oath, Now! celebrates public servants who have honored their oath to support and defend the Constitution through elected office, appointed positions, military service, law enforcement, or in the civil service. We encourage public servants to honor their oath by fulfilling their duties in accordance with the Constitution and Law even if directed to do otherwise.

When civil servants are not fulfilling their oath, we see the goodness within them and call on them to rise from ambivalence as their best self. By speaking to the best within them, we remind them of who they can be and call them too their rightful and just place in the community. We help them by offering education in the Constitution and Law as it relates to their duties. We provide encouragement as needed and celebration as deserved.

Honor the Oath, Now! also celebrates and empowers the critical work of social activists who without office, pay, or sworn oath have bravely defended the Constitution from domestic threats. For these patriots, who love their country by working to ensure that our nation’s ideal of equality and inalienable rights is extended to all, we offer formal recognition in the lineage of our Constitution’s most courageous defenders and extend the honor of taking the Oath.

We also work with activists to develop methods for imploring public servants to honor their oaths and defend the Constitution by working within the Friendly Engagement and Non-violent Resistance paradigms.
